Question
Hi George
i was hoping you could give me some advice on correct technique on front crawl and breast stroke.
Regards
Ari

Answer
Ari-
Without seeing your stroke, I can only give you a couple of suggetions.
On both strokes remember that maximum distance per stroke is key to going fast.  If you watched any of the olympic swimming, the faster swimmers didn't take an overly large number of strokes.  In breaststroke especially, you need a little glide phase at the end of each stroke to let your kick finish and to set your hands up for the next stroke.
Freestyle needs to have full strokes, a nice reach on the catch phase all the way through a nice push on the finish phase by your hips.
I hope this helps.
George
