breathing while front crawl

2016/7/15 11:58:07

Question
I am having difficulty breathing while doing front crawl its difficult for me to breathe to the side.Do i have to exhale while breathing or inhale while breathe to the sides. Please tell me the proper breathing technique when i have to exhale or inhale,by mouth or by nose.

Answer
You need to think about exhaling when your face is in the water and inhale when you turn your face to the side.  Make sure you blow as much air as possible or you won't have time to inhale enough.  It doesn't matter whether you exhale through your nose or mouth, but inhale through your mouth.
Hope this helps,
George
