Swimming Stroke

Question
Hello Kate!

I would like to know the symmetry of hand and leg motion for the frog style and how to synchronize the breathing with this movement. I'm new to swimming and when ever i try i hit the bottom of the pool.

going forward, its very embarrassing when women are around in the pool and they do it so perfect without any water splash due to their movement.

Please teach me the technique and I will be thankful 2 u for my life.

regards

Furrukh

Answer
The technique for the breast stroke (proper name) is very basic. You do a frog style kick but when you use your arms you only want to pull as far as your pectoral muscles. If you pull to your waist you will end up being forced towards the bottom of the pool. This will slow you down and mess with your symmetry.

I hope that this helps. It is an easy fix. Best of luck.
