Yes I take a supplement during the season and in the off season. The product is Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein. Protein is necessary in-season to maintain weight. During wrestling practices, you burn so much calories that not only do you burn your fat; you also burn your muscle away. The benefits of whey protein is that acts really fast on your body usually within 30 minutes of intake. That said, protein is the building blocks of muscles and most appropriate to take after a workout.
