Coaching Certification for Football: Enhance Your Career

I have been coaching youth football for the last three years, mainly coaching linebackers and the defensive line.  This year I have the J/V and Varsity team (8-12 years old) line and backers but would like to make this a more permanent position. Currently I am learning under the defensive coordinator   who has been on the HS and college level. I was wondering if there is a certification that I could attain that would increase my chances of working at the local middle or high school in my area? Thank you in advance.

I am sending you two web-links that might be of help. Every state is different so you might want to check with the local school athletic director to make sure. In my state these are the two organizations that we use to get certified.
