Hey coach im 19 and i wanna try-out for football wen i get to a community college i use to play running back but i let myself go now im 308 what could i do to lose weight in the next five months and to get my forty time back to 4.3 within time to try-out in the spring

Normally, I don't speak on the diet of an athlete because I am not a nutritionist. But here we go....

Well, If you eat big portions during a meal, cut those portions in half. If you drink a lot of soda, cut that out of your diet. Get in plenty of cardio work. As far as your speed, well sprinting up a hill helps bring strength to your push off. Which helps add speed. Wind sprints with a parachute will really help.
