My chances

Question
Thank you for taking the time to read this and answer my question.  I'm going to be 20 in march and i just started getting into the game.  I would like to know if there are any chances of even making the ECHL or even the AHL?  I would also like to know anything that will help my chances of making it big one day.  Again, thank you very much.
Nick

Answer
Hello Nick!

While "nothing is impossible" - the odds are definitely NOT in your favor.   In fact I believe that the latest a player ever started and made it "pro" was 15 years old.

Unless you are somehow genetically gifted - your best bet is to just PLAY for the LOVE OF THE GAME.  Have fun with it every time you go out on the ice!  If you are good enough - someone will notice and you will be found!

That way - no matter what happens - you are a winner!!

Good luck with the puck!
