Back row moves off a lineout

Question
We need to coach our back row how to provide support and mantain continuity to the inside centre who has recieved a ball quickly "off the top" can you sugest any moves or drills that may assist. Thanks

Answer
Very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. With the long weekend I neglected to update my settings.

As for your question: the best "drill" for linking your loosies up with the back line is to run the actual game day moves as a team. Get the flankers to make arcking runs from the rear of the lineout to come in behind the player with the ball. Look to have a flanker on either side of the center so that the options are open for either as left or right hand off. This is best with intentional crash ball. The flankers can then either make a charging run or off loan them selves to supporting players.

The big thing is for the flankers to time their runs so they commit the opposing flankers to remain in the line out while running the arc to come in behind the backs and not end up cutting their own players off.
