hay man i was woundering when will the topwater at night pick up this month

Hello Patrick! Glad you dropped me a question! To answer this question the best I can it's going to depend on what part of the country you live in,I live up north so it's going to be at least another month,to be more precise,around the end of may to early June when night fishing for bass picks up here,it peaks at or around the end of June and continues to be a good way to fish at night until the weather starts to get cold. If you live in the southern states,chances are the night bite is just starting to pick up, the majority of bass have finished spawning and are on there post-spawn bite,which you don't really need to wait until night to throw topwater.So right now if you live down south,the night bite is just getting under way,The farther north you are,we're going to have to wait a little longer,the bass up north haven't started to spawn,so there in there pre-spawn stage right now,but to fish topwater at night,I would wait a little longer[ depending where you live in the country].
