Major Medallion Fly Rod: Lifetime Warranty & Value - Seeking Information

I have purchased a really nice vintage fly rod called a Major Medallion. It says on the tag that it is  "Lifetime Warranteed".
Does anyone know anything about this company or if this is a good rod to own?

I would be happy to research your rod but will require more information and a few good jpeg images. Can you take and attach some pics of the rod, the handle, guides and most importantly the butt section and any writing or markings? I have some hunches but need more info.

What type of guides? Ferrules? Rod: Split cane or fiberglass? Etc...
