Identifying the Year of Your Montague Rapidan Fishing Rod

genune tonkin montague rapidan, came in a case made of leatherette fibr. The pole is 3 parts and has a exter top section  its 9 feet tall and the eyes are held on by gold or yellow tread.

Your rod model, Rapidan  was made by Montague , first in the 1920s and continues through the 40s , practically the whole history of the maker.

Where was it purchased ? What type of metal nickel-silver, tin, or chrome platted brass? A complete description of any logos or labels. Length of rod per section and number of sections. Total rod length.
