vintage fly reels

Question
my great grandfather left behind a vintage tackle box, an umco 3000U. in it i found several old fly reels, all are dated '73 or older. he had each one labeled with a piece of tape. one is "air cel supreme wf9f" but it says "heddon 320" on the label on the back. the other two are "shakespeare presidential wf7s", looks like they're just reel guts though. the final one looks to be really old, "martin fish reel co. mohawk ny"
are these items worth anything or should i just trash em?

Answer
Hello Isaac, unfortunatly you won't get rich selling your grandfathers things.  The tackle box has some value, if it is in good shape you could get over $100 for the box.  The reels could also fetch you some money if they are in good shape.  I would say your best bet would be to list the whole lot on ebay and see what it fetches.

Take Care,

Robin
