Heddon #126 Rod

Hello Rich, I have a Heddon Pal Little John #126 6' length that I was getting ready to put on Ebay. I like to do my research prior to listing and haven't been able to find anything about this rod. Could you please give me any information you might have on this rod. Collectable? Value?

I recommend you search ebay for completed auctions including prices using key words Heddon fiberglass casting rods.

Best resources for bamboo and a few fiberglass fly and a few casting rods is
Antique & Collectible  Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000) add about 30% for age of book.

Bamboo Rod Restoration Handbook by Michael Sinclair

Homel doesn't mention the Pal but gives the "Pal Black Beauty" fiberglass spinning rod  6.5 ft, 2 sections , 1 tip  the  value of  $8, 20 and $45 for poor, good, excellent condition respectively. And that is high for a fiberglass . I usually don't sell either fiberglass or casting rods but have sold them for $20.

Not very collectible .
