E.C.Powell fly rod

I have an E.C. Powell rod.  Rod with handle is 4' 9" and it has two 4' 10" tips.  jirlnscription on pole is E.C. Powell Angler 1932 986 built for Dr. Stanley Shaffer.  Varnish and raps are in excellent condition.  Only slight chip in cork handle.  Original bag and tube with brass end caps.

I recommend that you locate an appraiser in your area who is qualified to evaluate vintage fishing rods. An original E.C. Powell rod in excellent condition is going to be valued in the $1,100-$1,500 range depending on model and actual condition.  It would be worth your while to find someone who can inspect the rod in person and provide you with an estimate of value.
