Identifying Vintage Willie Green Fishing Rods: History & Value

a friend of mine just gave me a willie green rod #55-682-58 custom built in 66,could you give me any info on this builder.it came with a zebco 202 reel,im definitely not sure about the pairing of the two

Can you provide more details on the rod - baitcasting, spinning, etc. I suspect its one of many fiberglass rod makers.

The main interest in rod collectors is American made split bamboo rods. Bait casting and spinning rods don't generate as much demand.

The zebco reel is not very collectable ($5-10), but if its in working order, great for fishing for pan fish.
