value of fly fishing bamboo rod

Hi I have a bamboo fly fishing rod made by Hardys England
It is a 7 weight 10 feet "THE POPE" number H63150. The rod is in excelent condition perfectly straight.

Hi Angus,

I have limited reference materials on Hardy models.  What I have does list about a dozen different models, but does not list The Pope.  I did find some online sale listings for The Pope model of Hardy fly rods at 10' length and in excellent condition.  These listed the rod at about 350 GBP or about $500 in that condition.

Not always the best source for valuations, but it will give you an idea of the rod's worth.
