Valuing Vintage Pflueger Supreme Baitcaster Reels

Hi Marc Wisniewski,
Hope you can help me out, I have and old fishing reel my grandpa had when he was young. It's and Pflueser Supreme with the Bass on the right side with brown marble trun handles and it's a gun metal color to it also is a bait caster reel.  
 I would like to know if you know what it might be worth.
it's in very good shape.

Hi Jim,

The Pflueger Supremes were great old reels.  That was actually my first Musky reel and I used it for one year before I bought my first Ambassadeur.  

Unfortunately they sold millions of them and there are a lot out there for collectors.  Books may say that they are worth $60-$70.  In actuality, they sell every day for about $30 to $40 on E-bay.  In fact I just checked and there are some listed at a"Buy It Now" price of $28.

So, it's probably a better conversation piece and memento of your grandfather.  Enjoy it.
