huck finn fly rod

Question
I have a fly rod with a picture of huck finn and the #60 both seem to be painted on. Know other markings. Do you know of such a rod? How do I tell if it is bamboo as it is painted green. It is about 30 years old. Any info would be appreciated.  Thank You

I doubt if it is bamboo. And I have never heard of a reputable rod maker who painted split cane rods.
Is it flat sided or round? Round is not split cane bamboo.
If it has a box with large flies it is Japanese. That would be my guess without more info.
