shimano rod mk-2602 approx how old says engineered for mark reels and is it any good

Hi Daniel,

I think that was one of those magnumlite Fightin Rods.  They were 2 piece but there were no guides on the butt section.  They weren't a 50/50 two-piece.

If I remember right, that rod is about 15 years old.  My father actually had one.  It was OK.  It had plenty of guts in the butt section.  

They were a mid priced rod.
