blackdots on bass

i live i nh and recently i caught a five pound bass it had black dots all over it so i threw it back i was wondering if i can it fish that have black dots on them

I think you are asking if you can eat fish with the small black dots?

Yes you can. Sometimes the dots are not in the meat sometimes they are, but after cooking the fish, it posses no problems.

I personally would opt to release a five pound bass as a fish this size is trophy bound in a few years, not to mention other species of fish taste much better.
