Goldfish record

Hi, i caught a goldfish lastnight fishing for catfish.  The gold fish is about 18 inches long maybe bigger.  I kept the fish and put it in my pond to see if i have record. So I'm seeing if you know how to get a fish on record Az game&fish say that they don't recognize the fish so I cant' put it up as a record. If you have any help please e-mail me back thanks.

You screwed up big time my friend!  You are not supposed to transport the fish until you get it weighed on a certified scale.  Secondly gold fish are not game fish.  I would either feed it to the neighbors cat, put it up on the wall for kicks, or keep it in your pond.
P.S. you could always release it.
