I am not sure what your question is. JC Higgins is the trade name fishing tackle was sold by Sears under. Sears didn't actually make fishing tackle, so the reel was build by a third party. Spinning rods really came of age after WWII, your reel is probably 50-60s. Value $5-10.
The rod is made by a company called True Temper. The rod is worth $10-30 depending on condition. It should have been paired with a bait casting reel.
