martin tuffy fly rod and reel fiberglass

I would like to know if a 1940's hand strung fiberglass rod and self-winding aluminum reel has any monetary value?

I'm not sure what you mean by hand strung...and it can not be a fiberglass rod from the 40's.  Fiberglass was not used for fly rods until the late 50's/ealry 60's.  What is the brand of the reel?  What is it's condition?  It may be collectible but generally speaking auto reels do not hold much value.
