hardy flyrod

my father purchased a rod from a car boot sale....it is a hardys graphite deluxe 10ft 2 piece rod made in england by the house of hardy....it is 25 years old and the patent number is 1429309...it is in perfect condition...i was wondering how much it would cost today?????thank you

Hello David.  The rod does have some value - and lucky for you it's worth more there in the UK than it would be here in the states.  If it is truly mint condition (condition is very important in these matters) I would say it's roughly worth between 150 and 200 pounds. I am also assuming it has a Hardy tube as well. If not that will drop the value a little.  If you would like to sell it find a fishing specialty shop.  I hope this helps.
