Debating 59s in Golf: A Look at Record Validity

Why are there 5 ,,59 scores in record books???
Only 3 were on par 72 courses!!!!  AND
Chip Beck was on a lift clean and place day.
Only 2 should be in the PGA record books.
These 59 scores take away from honest golf play!!!

OVER THE TOP GOLF There are many schools of thought when it comes to records of any kind. Regarding the 59s that have been recognized, golf's governing bodies tend to treat them as equals. What should be isn't always what be.
