LONG HANDLED PUTTER

Question
I HAVE SWITCHED TO A LONG HANDLED PUTTER.  AFTER WATCHING VIDEOS
AND READING, I SEE THAT THERE ARE MANY RIGHT WAYS TO DO IT.  IF I STAND
NEXT TO THE BALL (FEET POINTING AT THE TARGET FACING THE TARGET, KNEES
BENT A LITTLE) WHERE DO I LOOK WHEN I PUTT (AT THE TARGET, A SPOT, THE
BACK OF THE BALL, THE TOP OF THE BALL... THANKS, GENE

Answer
Hi Gene:

That is up to you Gene and your practice.  You will decide what is best for you.  I would start with the ball.  Until you get a good grasp on the swinging of the putter from a side saddle position, I would look at the ball.  Once comfortable with that, I would then experiment to see what works best.  The beauty of the game Gene, is there is no right way to do anything.  Whatever works for you is fine with the world.  Go practice, and see what works best for you, because everything you said works, but what works best for Gene?
