skis out west

2016/7/22 11:06:20

Question
I am trying to decide how my skis would perform in colorado. I have really short (155) elans that are stiff and alot of fun out east. Would these still be fun out west. I would use my longer and more allmountain K2s for powder days but would the elans be ok on the other days?

Answer
Hello and thanx for the question...

155 skis are fine in most conditions, although you dont say how tall you are.

you'll find your shorter skis fun to use as they don't require as much effort expenditure as longer skis.

s for being stiff and good in eastern snow conditions - i think you'll find they too can have firmer snow days as well, especially if they havent had snow for a few days.

have a great time exploring the colorado resorts, there is some great skiing to be had.
