Snowboards

Question
Dear Expert,

I have been trying to find the best snowboard on the market for freestyle terrain. I have ridden a K2, Ride, and Gnu. I am not quite sure which one is the best, but I really liked the K2. They抮e not too pricey and they抮e nice for Terrain Park. What kind of board would you recommend for park? I would also like to know what you think about Burton snowboards. Personally I think they are a little bit over priced, but I know that if you want to buy a nice board, it will be pricey. Snowboarding is my favorite thing to do and it would be great if I could find a nice board. Do you snowboard? If so, what kind of board do you ride? Do you like it? I like a board with some pop and flexibility, but I also like a little bit of stiffness for rails and boxes.

Thanks,

Ian Timm

Answer
Currently I'm riding Capita snowboards. They have a model called Stairmaster which are very soft and flexible to play around the park. And to mix it up, try out the Midlife series, which is still soft but have alot of pop.  But I've always liked Gnu and rode the "Park Pickle"....and thought that was awesome. Or Lib Tech and the skate banana. I am not a supporter of Burton boards. There are just so many brands out there, to find your favourite. K2, Rome, O-matic, Arbor, Capita, Gnu, Lib Tech. Good luck.
