diving camps

What diving camps, for age group divers, in California do you recommend.  I am a beginner and want to go to diving camp this summer.  Thanks, Emma

Hi Emma-

I have two suggestions for you. The first is to contact the Mission Viejo Nadadores Diving Team in Mission Viejo. They have one of the most successful age group teams in the country. They have summer camps as well as weekend camps you should look into. The second suggestion is the summer camp at UCLA. This school just opened a brand new pool this past fall and are offering a camp for the first time. The coach running the camp is Tom Stebbins. To find out how to contact these programs, go to www.usadiving.org. Click on Clubs and then Find A Club. Enter CA and a list of teams from all over California will come up. There may be some other camps to look into by contacting other teams like Trojan Dive club at USC or the Rose Bowl Team in Pasadena. I am sure you will find something you like.
