Swimmers Shoulder

2016/7/15 11:57:33

Question
My shoulder has been bothering me for almost a year a now, and I am starting to think I have swimmers shoulder. It hurts whenever I'm swimming and after practice. I have tried taking a bit of time off from swimming but when I got back in the pool it started to hurt again. Does that sound like swimmers shoulder? Should I go see a doctor about it?

Answer
It sounds like you have tendonitis in your shoulder. If you can get a referral from your doctor to a sports specialist or for physical therapy it would be a great help. Tendonitis is from overuse so it can be frustrating. But definitely go see your doctor.
