i need help diving

2016/7/15 12:00:10

Question
Everytime I try to dive into the water I get water up my nose and/or do a belly flop. I was wondering if you had any tips to help me avoid this situation.
thanks vanessa

Answer
Vanessa, I'm not sure about the water in the nose when you dive but if you are doing a belly flop it usually means you are picking up your head just before you hit the water.  Keep your head squeezed between your arms until you are under water, that should end the belly flops.
Try to blow a little air out your nose when you hit the water, that may help the water in the nose problem.
Hope this helps,
George
