Swimmer's Ear & Ear Pressure: Causes, Relief & When to See a Doctor

Question
I have a problem with my ears.  I went swimming yesterday and now my ears feel stopped up and I have a lot of pressure in my head.  I also cannot hear.  I tried putting alcohol in my ears and even using the blow dryer on its cool setting to dry them out.  It doesn't feel like there is any water in there.  What can I do?

Answer
hi does it hurt when you try to sleep on it? The only thing I can think of is swimmers ear, its an inner ear infection from some bacteria in the pool, it quite common. there are drops that can be either prescribed but if you goto a drugstore a pharmacist should be able to point you in direction of something more generic and cheaper. Should feel better in a couple of days.
