Hooded Swimming Towel

2016/7/21 11:54:59

If you are wondering if it is worth buying a hooded swimming towel, the answer is yes. It is very difficult to get dry and warm if you have been swimming in a swimming pool or the sea, particularly if you have long hair. It is important not to let your hair stay wet for too long particularly if you are out in the cold. These towels can be used for swimming or bath time and are extremely versatile. A hooded swimming towel can be a brilliant way of keeping you head warm and helping to get hair dry quickly.

Of course if you are on the beach, you may find that you are sitting around, maybe in the cold wind. You can keep you head covered the whole time and also this helps with protection from the sun. Children can really benefit from these sorts of hooded swimming towels; they can wear them over the top of their swim suits to keep them warm all the time, before and after the getting wet. They can also be used at bath time so you can maximum use out of them and they can stay wrapped up in them until they are completely dry but without getting cold. You can get ones with arms in that are great for this because they are easy to wear, almost like a dressing gown.

I have seen some really fun hooded swimming towels for sale for adults and kids, they can come personalized and they can be really fun designs. I have only found these online; the ones that I have seen in the shops tend to only be for younger children. It may be fairly easy to make an adult hooded towel, I have found patterns on the internet for children's versions, and they could be increase for an adult size. The only issue you may have is finding the right towelling fabric to use, remember if it is too thick it may be very heavy when it is wet.

If you are looking for a hooded swimming towel, make sure the towelling is on both sides of the fabric so it is really absorbent and get one that is really generous so that there is plenty of fabric to get covered up, keeping you toasty warm. I have also seen many without arms, but I really think that is a bit pointless, because you want to cover your whole body, not just parts of it. Poncho towels are ok, but they are difficult to do things in because if you are trying to keep warm, you arms are restricted.

I think hooded towels are the sort of thing that once you have one, you wondered how you ever managed without them and you can never go back to your normal towel. You will want to buy one for all your friends and family for birthdays and Christmas's to come!
