Finding the Right Womens One Piece Swimwear

2016/7/21 14:54:06

Not all of us are comfortable in a bikini but that doesn’t mean missing out on all the fun in the sun. You can still head to the beach with the right womens one piece swimwear. The first thing you need to think about when you are looking at swimsuits is your body type.

Identify what parts of your body you like and would like to highlight and which parts of your body you would like to disguise or play down. When shopping for a swimsuit it’s best to take along a friend who can be honest and help you survey a swimsuit from all angles.

Defining Your Body

Some people might think that one piece swimsuits are only for the fuller figured girls, but even skinny girls can benefit from the flattering designs of womens one piece swimwear. If you have a boyish figure or no waist then one piece thong swimwear is ideal for adding femininity to your figure.

One piece swimwear that is cut high on your thigh will help to give you a waist. If you would like to add more definition then there is nothing like womens one piece swimwear that comes with a belt or solid color block around the waist in a bright color. Avoid a solid colored suit or vertical stripes as this will only make you look more boyish.

If you have wide shoulders then you don’t want to draw attention to your upper half. In this case you want to stay away from womens one piece swimwear with plunging necklines or v-neck designs. A square neckline is the way to go for you if you have broad shoulders.

Optical Illusions

When it comes to womens one piece swimwear using optical illusions is the best way to minimize your figure flaws. Just because you have more curves doesn’t mean you should cover everything up, this won’t always make you look smaller.

Choose a swimsuit that has a floral print down the middle with two panels of solid color on either side. This will make you look smaller and give your waist more definition. A deep v-neck is a great choice for curvy girls when shopping for womens one piece swimwear. Cut outs can also make you look smaller.

Above all you should experiment. Look at all the styles available, you might be surprised at what flatters you and works with your body. Keep an open mind when shopping for your summer wardrobe.
