Protecting Frogs in Your Pool: A Humane Guide

There are a few things you can do to keep frogs from dying in your inground swimming pool:

* Install a frog log or ladder. This will give frogs a way to get out of the pool if they accidentally fall in.

* Cover your pool when it's not in use. This will help to prevent frogs from falling into the pool in the first place.

* Remove any debris from the pool. This includes leaves, branches, and other objects that frogs might use to hide in.

* Keep the pool water clean. Frogs are more likely to die in dirty water, so it's important to keep the pool water chlorinated and balanced.

* Add salt to the pool water. Salt water is less harmful to frogs than chlorinated water.

If you find a frog in your pool, don't panic. Just gently scoop it up with a net and release it into a nearby body of water.
