Im 5'10,and weigh 143 im a freshman i played started cornerback on freshman now on varsity i wana play safety how do i become a better tackler and read the offense better?

The strong safety should have hit the lead blocker hard enough to force him back and into the ball carrier. Never wait to be hit, always do the hitting first.
