Question
Hi there, My question is if my 11 year old son wants to improve his shot in the garage.  Is putting a little distance between him and the net a good idea as opposed to shooting on net really close.

Answer
Hello tracey...

I would have to say YES! It's one thing to build confidence by shooting from up close - but we still need to build on accuracy and power.  Accuracy being the MORE important one!

So yes - maybe back up a foot or so every week or two and keep shooting for targets.  Eventually he should be able to hit them from just about anywhere in the offensive zone!

Hope this helps!

GOOD LUCK WITH THE PUCK!
