J.E. Brynildson Fly Rod Value & Information - Appraisal & History
Question
I have inherited a bamboo fly rod from an uncle. It is a 7'0", 4wt with both tips. I have showed it to a couple of local experts and they say that it is a quality rod all the way around, the maker didn't skimp on anything. They appraised it, not knowing anything about the maker, between $800 and $1500. Saying that it could be worth more depending on reputation of the maker. It was made by J.E. Brynildson rod co.. I have been trying to track down any info on this maker but have found very little. Can you HELP please. Thank you.
