Identifying & Valuing Vintage Pflueger Capitol Reels (1985 & Older)

Question
I have two Plueger Mod 1985 Capitol Reels in excellent condition. How can I tell when they were made?  I assume that they are at least 50-60 years old as one was my father's and I'm 58.  As far as I can tell both are in in original contition but they have different handles. One has been sitting in the original box w/the instruction sheet for at least 40 years.  What would be a reasonable price to expect at auction?

your model was made from 1935 thru 1959. The reel its self doesn't generate a lot of collectors interest. $5-15. however with the original box - if the reel and box are mint or near mint, you should be able to get $20-40.

its a tough time to sell, right now..more sellers than buyers.
