zebco push botton rods

Hi Joe,
How do take the new push botton reels apart. the old ones were easy. I need to grease them.  MY SON HAS A ZEBCO 404   Thank You

Hi Brad,

I'm not going to be any help on this one.  I don't use this type of reel.

When I was a kid the Zebco reels unscrewed in the middle and the front cone came off.  I have no idea what the current ones look like or how they come apart.  Try unscrewing it (gently) and if that does not work, resubmit your qesution and direct it to another of the experts.
