Can I ask you to provide a bit more information?  Is there a model name written on the rod...perhaps some sort of Deluxe model?  How long is it?
How many sections?  

I found a reference to the patent, but it seems to cover several models in the Hardy lineup.

Yes, I believe the second number is a serial number.
