Identifying Antique Bamboo Pole: Seeking Information

I can't seem to find any poles that have a name similar to what is on this pole. Mine has most of the label left and all I can make out is: L_m  Di_hey
Something similar to that anyways ,it is in silver or white paint.The pole is a 2pc octagonal hardwood or split bamboo,6ft withwood handle,round knob on bottom. any info would be great.

Check all metal parts carefully for patents.
L_m  Di_hey sounds familiar but I got nothing in my books or memory.
Are you saying the lettering is white?
It is octagonal ? 8 sides not 6 ?
Is the handle above the reel seat ? ( Fly rod ) or below (bait casting rod)?
