Trying to catch bass

how are you i have a question i livning in jacksonville fl. and i have been fishing this pond that so says has bass and big ones. but i cant seem to have any luck. i have been bass fishing for about 10 years so i have a little experence. i have been throwing everything from spinner bates (white, chartreuse),rattle trap (black and silver) and worms (red shad and jun bug)what time of the day should i fish i haveing been trying in the later evenings. i cant fish out of a boat the pond is pretty big not very much cover i find but in a few areas, the water is pretty clear. there is alot of shad in the pond and pretty big ones i am running out of ideas and hopefully you might be able to give a helping hand i hope i explaned this right and enough i am determind to catch a bass out of here dont care what size it is.

Hi Brandon,
This sounds like the type of lake I would like to give a try.  Let's see if I can help.

You gave me an idea when you mentioned the shad population.  Have you tried jerk worms, such as the Slug Go and 5" Gambler Stud?  I would try these, in shad and watermelon colors.

Another lure to try is a 4" finesse worm, such as Berkley's Power Worm line, or Mann's 4" Jelly Worm.  I would use black, or pumpkinseed on a small jig head.  Swim it along any weed lines and points.
