Identifying and Valuing Vintage Ike Walton Fly Rod - Expert Advice
Question
I have an Ike Walton fly rod, there is a number 12 above the numbers 113-76 and then 7 1/2'. I believe it to be old, and if so, I would hate to ruin it being a newbie to the sport. It's a Thermoweld Fiberglass made in USA. The reel is a Shakespeare OMNI 44. The rod and reel are in exelent condition. Any advise will be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

these rods were made by Horrocks Ibbotson, Utica NY. HI made lower end fishing tackle. Your rod would not command much value to collectors.

The reel is in the $10 range in value
