How to Attach Weight Forward Fly Line to Backing - Scotty's Expert Advice

I just baught a weight foward line, but I dont know wich end to tie to the backing. The tag that says "this end to reel" is gone. I have noticed that one end is narrow and one end is fat. What end do I tie to the backing?

The weight forward line has a thicker front section that tapers to a thin section. The back 2/3 of the fly line is level. You want to have the thicker section (with the thin taper) be the front end of the line (where you attach the leader.
