Question
QUESTION: I am advanced to expert skier who is about to buy either a Nordica speed machine 8 boot or a nordica gransport.
I tried both and the two of the are equally confortable (speed machine size 28 and gransport size 27).
what do you think?
thanks very much

ANSWER: Hey Guido,

There is not a lot of difference between the two boots. The speed machine may be just a bit stiffer but performance and fit reviews are pretty much equal. If they both seem to perform well for you, then fit/comfort and price would be the deciding factor. If one or the other has a heat moldable liner, I would suggest going with that one to get a more custom fit.

Hope this helps.

QUESTION: Thanks for your prompt response, which I found very helpful. I forgot to say thay the speed machine 8 has a 100 flex index while the gransport is 70. Do you have any comment on the size issue? I'm a 9 1/2 and found and tried the 28 speedmachine and the 27 gransport. Thanks again

Answer
Hey Guido,

Specific size is not so much an issue as the fit. I wear a size 10 shoe, 10.5 ski boot, and 11.5 in snowboard boots. Despite the sizing stated on the gear, different designs will provide a different fit so what matters is that the boots you choose fit properly.

Hope this helps.
