Question
I am on a high school swim team, I've been Varsity all four years, and last year I was captain. I love swim, but I don't like my coach. I disagree with many of his methods and I find when I talk to him he doesn't listen. But he adores me. Ever since freshman year, I've been his favorite, but I never take advantage of that and i work extremely hard to improve. I'm afraid that the team looks at me differently though because I am the favorite. What can I do about my coach and my teammates that don't understand?

The bad news is, there really isn't a lot you can do except continue to work hard.  Being it's a high school team you really don't have a choice as to who your coach is.  If he is treating you different than your team mates the only thing you can do is try talking to him and try to make him see the differences and try to get him to stop.
I know this isn't the best news, but I hope it helps
