dear sir
  i am naveed hassan from Pakistan. i am of 30 years.i have a vey lean n sluggy body. i wanna get a little but muscular shape but dont wanna join a jym for weight training. i am very much interested in swimming n i going to join a pool very soon. i just wanna know that it is said that swimming is the best exercise for the whole body.i just wanna ask that is it true that we can gain some wieght n muscles through swimming. if yes, than which style of swimming is best for weight n muscle gain.

Swimming is very good for overall body fitness.  As for muscle gain, lifting weights is better.  If you prefer swimming, work towards swimming all of the strokes and work up to being able to swim 4 to 5000 m. during a workout.  Talk to the lifeguards at the pool you join and they may be able to help you or to help you find a coach to train you.
