Improving Your Chances in High School Football: A Junior's Guide

Hi, I'm Ken Javier. I'm 5'6" weighing about 125 lbs. and going to be a junior in high school, I'm trying out for wide reciever or D-back, but I havn't played in a league since 8th grade, any suggestions on getting back into shape?

Ken it sounds from your writing that you are small for football. I would suggest lifting weights daily!! Get your body in the best physical shape before the season gets here. Work on leg press, Bench press and squats. These are the 3 core football lifts. If you could put on 6 to 8 pounds of muscle, this would help you for your overall confidence, strenght and size for the season. GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!!
