help identifing fly rod

I have an old bamboo 4 piece fly rod the only thing on them to help identify the value is V530 and nothing else does anyone no what this means.

I afraid your description is insufficient to id the rod. I check my books and memory for V530 and got nothing. Pictures and or a complete description of the rod would help. A picture of the label and the rod would help (email= [email protected]). I am in Denver , you ? I ID for free. Look on the metal parts for patents even the tip top.
Weight in oz?  What is the diameter of the rod above the cork? Where was it purchased do you think ?
Lots of people made rods , it may not be that old. Lots of companies like Wards and Sears put their own labeling on rods made by others. It could be a small manufactor, and without a big name the collectors aren't interested, resulting in a lower possible sale price.
4 piece bamboo rods are not highly sought after as fishing implements as they have no or too much action.
